The most straightforward route to picking the perfect plot is to find an existing house within a town or village, demolish it and replace it with a new house designed specifically to meet your needs.

Top tip - 🚫 steer clear of Conservation Areas, unless the house you find to demolish is an eye sore and its replacement would be an improvement.

Avoid listed buildings, as it is a big challenge to get consent to demolish them – and why would you want to?🤷‍♀️
