Nye Saunders designed and with the help of D&M Planning obtained planning consent for this 4-bed detached contemporary home and subsequent garage addition. The design was carefully developed to follow the sloping site to create a low-profile dwelling in land to the rear of an existing property. Due to the site's sloping character, the proposed new house needed to be cut into the bank. Maximising natural light was a key focus of the final design, incorporated through the use of skylights, light wells, and expansive glass sections.

Following the planning process, Nye Saunders produced a set of building regulations drawings and worked with the contractor Deeks and Steere to provide ad-hoc advice while the project was under construction.
The property is now listed for sale on the Truman & Grundy website.
