PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE 

Nye Saunders together with Alliance Planning Consultants secured a planning consent between 2002 and 2008 for the erection of the new 1000sq.m performing arts centre following the demolition of the existing squash courts. Planning issues such as noise, loss of car parking and felling of trees had to be addressed.

 

The building contains a large auditorium seating up to 162 people and a control booth and stage, 3 music classrooms, 2 drama classrooms, an office, numerous practice rooms together with toilets.

 

We prepared full working drawings, NBS specification and works with Thomasons Structural Engineers and Synergy and QS.
