Nye Saunders obtained planning and Listed Building consent for three phases of refurbishment of this listed Arts and Crafts house.  We created an oak framed master en-suite reached via a bridge link from the enlarged master bedroom, a much enlarged orangery, with a roof design to allow as much oak framing to remain on display as possible.

 

A new entrance porch, lobby, and cloakroom extension transformed the entrance to the house from a rather apologetic porch into a grand entrance more suited to the importance of the house. 

 

The kitchen wing was completely refurbished, with structural alterations including the removal of supporting posts in the kitchen allowing an unencumbered open plan kitchen to be created.  A new back staircase and laundry room and refurbishment of the housekeepers flat completed the work.
