2022 has been a bumper year here at Nye Saunders with good news for the Practice and its clients alike.
In September, we welcomed two part 1 Architectural Assistants, Marilena and Antonios, who have proven to be great assets to the team. At the end of November we were also joined by David Brazier, a senior architect who has a great deal of experience in the school and housing sectors which we are sure will be well used at Nye Saunders. David is a keen illustrator using CGI, watercolour, pen and ink and pen and wash styles to produce beautiful artwork. He was appointed as an associate of the Society of Architectural Illustrators in 2015 and is also a keen caricature artist. David is a passionate environmentalist which is at the forefront of his design ethos.
Several projects began on site this year including roofing works to Churches in our care, a new build single dwelling, the conversion of a grade 2 listed barn and the refurbishment of offices and flats in London. More projects are planned to start on site in 2023 including a development of 5 new houses in Bookham for Latchmere Properties, so watch this space.
We have secured many planning consents for our clients this year over a range of different projects, and we look forward to securing many more next year.
This year, we have again decided to make charitable donations rather than send out Christmas cards and our staff have decided to support NSPCC, Crisis and the Happy Cats Rescue.
We wish all our clients, consultants, contractors and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
