Nye Saunders gained planning and Listed Building Consent for this Grade II listed barn in Surrey. The application was to extend the house to the south to provide a ground floor bedroom, ensuite bathroom, and ground floor W.C, as well as a small swimming (lap) pool to the south.

 

Traditional materials of the highest standard were used to maintain the local style and character, and also to provide a sustainable development of appropriate scale to complement the character and setting of the existing building and its surroundings. Its was awarded the Civic Design Award by 'The Godalming trust' in 2016.
