Mark Goodchild

BA (Hons.), Dipl.Arch, RIBA


 Mark completed his architectural training at Kingston University in 2002 under the tutorage of Patrick Lynch (Young Architect of the Year 2005), he qualified as an Architect with distinction and is a member of both ARB and the RIBA.


Mark has worked in both London as an Associate and Asia straight out of university. He has now settled in Surrey making quality of life his priority  by working within walking distance of his family home. This in turn fulfils his passion for renovation as he is currently working on  his own home, his 4th such project to date. Mark's hands-on experience of the on-site construction process makes him invaluable during this phase of any project.


Mark has extensive expertise as Project Architect for both large multi million pound schemes and domestic scale residential projects. He also has vast experience in Educational projects in both the public and private sector. His most recently completed project is the former residence of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, 'Undershaw'.  Here, following consultation with the pupils and staff of Stepping Stones School,  he and his client DFN Foundation, have created a world class special needs facility.


In his personal time Mark enjoys running and keeping fit. He has participated in two London marathons and since turning 40, the recent Surrey half marathon.
