LISTED BUILDING CONVERSION
Guildford, Surrey
Nye Saunders worked closely with the client and conservation officer to obtain planning and Listed Building consent for the conversion of this Georgian fronted timber framed property from a single commercial use to a self-contained shop unit and a self-contained dwelling.
We also inspected the works on site, and coordinated the garden design works which involved the submission of an application for scheduled Ancient Monument consent. The building was in a very dilapidated state with significant structural problems with the timber frame. Much of the Georgian interior had been stripped out prior to our involvement.
We worked closely with the Conservation Officer to obtain planning and listed building consent, and produced a schedule of works for the repairs and reinstatement of interiors, and monitored the works on site.
