EXTENSION & RENOVATION

Full restoration, repair and a small extension and garage of the badly decayed Grade II listed abandoned house between 2010 and 2012.

 

Nye Saunders secured planning and listed building consent for the full restoration, repair and a small extension and garage of the badly decayed Grade II listed abandoned house.  There were extensive discussions and negotiations with local authority conservation officer.

 

We prepared a full working drawings package for use by the client appointed builder and provide ad-hoc advice throughout the construction phase.  The works involved significant timber repairs and structural improvements, re-roofing, fireplace and chimney rebuilding and bat mitigation.
