

The practices offers a full range of basic architectural services as defined by the RIBA. These are set out in their plan of work:
Survey Stage
Measured Survey of proposed site, including existing buildings and any relevant site / features.
Preparation of Survey Drawings
Design Stage 1
Taking Clients instructions and design brief and prepare an outline proposal and preliminary sketch design.
Design Stage 2
Consultation with Client regarding sketch design, plus alterations that the client requires.
Planning Stage
Submission of Town Planning Application, including plans, elevations and 3D visualisations (if required).
Detailing Stage
Progress of the design with input from the Client, to produce a complete detailed scheme. Working drawings will consist of plans, elevations and sections, all with specific detailing to enable construction.
Building Regulations Stage
Submission of all working drawings and forms required for compliance with Building Control.
Specification
Writing of a Specification of Works, comprising of detailed information required by a contractor
Tender Stage
Distribution of tender documents (complete set of working drawings and specification of works) to selected contractors.
Checking / analysing received tenders and advising the Client of the tender comparison.
Negotiating with contractors if necessary.
Construction Stage
Preparing contract documents and acting as the contracts
administrator through out the construction.
Regular site inspections to assess completed work.
Advise the client throughout the construction phase on the building progress.
Issue any required instructions to the Contractor
Periodical valuations of construction works completed and issuing of interim payment certificates.
Inspection of works when construction is deemed to be complete.
Post Construction Stage
Inspection of works at the end of the defects liability period (usually 6 months) and instructing contractor to correct any defects.
Issuing the Final Certificate of Payment.
